team issue

One of the greatest aspects to being PRO is in many ways based on the utilitarian idea of "team issue". Like the military and Costco workers, there is something banal about the concept of "team issue"; everyone on the team wears the same kit. However, like UPS socks, mere civilians are excluded from all the TLTIS (tight-lipped team issue shit per Slate O) and therefore make the gear that much more special. What's more, if it's marked "team issue" "team edition" or "factory pilot" you know it's the shit.

The kicks wore out and I hit 4th and Broadway for these team editions.
